Summary
The face serves as a focal point and reflects our emotional state.
As we age, not only does the skin lose elasticity, but the volume of fat and bone also diminishes. Additionally, facial expressions can become etched into the skin as wrinkles, leading to an appearance that may seem sad, tired, or tense—even when the individual does not feel that way. Various surgical and non-surgical procedures can help align one's outward appearance with their inner feelings.
Among the surgical options, upper eyelid lift is particularly popular. By removing excess skin from the eyelids, the heaviness around the eyes is alleviated, resulting in a fresher, more alert gaze.
Non-surgical treatments can be effective on their own or in conjunction with surgical procedures. For instance, inhibiting specific facial muscle groups with botulinum toxin differs from volumizing treatments with fillers. In this regard, my primary focus is on achieving natural results while ensuring safety. My goal is to enhance the individual beauty of my patients without creating an artificial or "over-injected" appearance.
